
Alexandra Webster holds a Master of Arts degree in Counselling Psychology with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute in Santa Barbara, California and is currently a Registered Psychotherapist (RP) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario (CRPO) as well as a Clinical Member of the Canadian Association for Psychodynamic Therapists (CAPT). She has had a private psychotherapy practice in Toronto, Ontario working with individuals, groups and children for the past 18 years, before which she interned in California for 2 years.
During the course of her psychotherapeutic career, Alexandra has acquired several modalities in her practice including traditional talk therapy, Sand Play, Gestalt relational interactive therapy, and various methods of visualizations and meditation techniques. In addition to her current psychotherapeutic practice, Alexandra is a board member of the R. Howard Webster Foundation, a philanthropic foundation donating to non-profit charities within Canada. Also, she was an Independent Contractor for a startup company creating an innovative sensory healing modality, Dhome, LLC, serving in an advisory role to the managing members of the Company.
Prior to attaining her Master’s degree, after graduating from Princeton University with a BA in Architecture, Alexandra worked in a variety of fields including architectural lighting design, where she worked for two large lighting design companies in London, England and New York City, as well as operating her own company, Independent Lighting Design. She was also Director of Operations and Programming for Wellspring Media, a producer of health and wellness video programming, after which she co-produced a documentary film Wisdomkeepers, depicting three Lakota Sioux Native American Elders sharing knowledge and sacred teachings about their spiritual and cultural traditions. Additionally, Alexandra also worked in Real Estate development and sales in New York City.
